itsy , bitsy, teenie, tiny batch ice cream made in southern illinois. every batch is different!
i make ice cream (and a mess) in the kitchen of Cristaudo's bakery and cafe weekly.
the base recipe of every batch includes:
heavy cream
whole milk
cane sugar
egg yolks
that's it! no other emulsifying agents!
most other ingredients are grown on my farm or sourced from local growers.
